A Moloco Case Study
Zempot, a subsidiary of Netmarble in Korea, launched the authentic hold’em game WINJOY Poker League and partnered with Moloco using Moloco Studio. After the game’s Android UA campaign began to struggle in February 2021, CPI increased while CVR declined, creating a need to improve ad performance and acquisition efficiency.
Moloco analyzed Zempot’s ad creatives and found that gameplay-focused ads outperformed celebrity-led creatives, then recommended new creatives emphasizing real gameplay, “all-in” style messaging, and stronger purchase/signup prompts. After Zempot applied these insights, Moloco helped drive more than 8x higher sales and a 0.5% CVR increase in just two weeks, restoring campaign performance.
