Wonder People secured high-value users and exceeded ROAS goal by 20%

Wonder People, a South Korea-based gaming company known for its casino title “Mega Hit Poker,” wanted to improve ROAS while targeting high-value users who are rare in social casino games. The company had been running UA campaigns on walled-garden platforms, but higher budgets led to repeated exposure to the same audiences rather than broader reach. Wonder People partnered with Moloco and used Moloco Ads / Moloco Cloud DSP to find a more efficient channel for quality users.

Moloco implemented CPA optimization using custom events built from high-priced in-app purchase behavior, supported by machine learning models trained on Wonder People’s first-party data. Moloco also used data-driven creative optimization through Moloco Studio to improve ad performance. The result was that Wonder People hit ROAS KPIs in the first week, exceeded its ROAS goal by 20%, secured high-value users at a 30% lower CPI than other channels, and achieved a 100% increase in ROAS compared with other campaigns.
