Moloco Helps Animoca Brands Drive Quality App Installs, Providing Low CPIs and High ROAS

Animoca Brands, a Hong Kong-based mobile gaming company behind Crazy Defense Heroes, needed to acquire high-quality users in Japan more cost effectively, especially as Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) made iOS user acquisition more difficult. To improve performance, the company partnered with Moloco and used Moloco Ads for campaigns on both Android and iOS.

Moloco helped Animoca Brands and its agency partner Zucks China run high-impact creative campaigns optimized by ML models. The results were strong: Moloco delivered CPIs that were 2x lower than other channels, ROAS that was on par with or better than other UA partners, a 3x higher conversion rate from install to purchase on iOS, and a 5x higher day-seven retention rate on iOS.
