Elex works with Moloco Ads to acquire high-quality users, achieves IAP ROAS over 200% above goal

Elex, a Beijing-based mobile gaming company behind titles like The Walking Dead: Survivors and Clash of Kings, wanted to acquire high-quality users who would make in-app purchases and generate strong ROAS. In 2021, Elex partnered with Moloco and used Moloco Ads to improve user acquisition for its mobile games across key markets.

Moloco used its machine learning-driven ad platform to target users with a high propensity to both install and become valuable players, rather than relying on fixed audience segments. The results were strong: Elex reported ROAS more than 200% above goal in some geos, including 144% above goal on iOS and 149% above goal on Android in the US, plus 133% above goal on iOS and 208% above goal on Android in Western Europe. More than 30% of acquired users made in-app purchases within seven days, and Moloco became one of Elex’s top UA partners.
