Bucketplace transforms its marketplace business with retail media

Bucketplace, the company behind the fast-growing OHouse home and living marketplace app in Korea, wanted to turn its marketplace into a new retail media channel for merchants while creating a more personalized shopping experience for users. To do that, it worked with Moloco and its Moloco Commerce Media product to deliver targeted advertising that could reach the right shoppers.

Moloco helped Bucketplace launch Moloco Commerce Media in about three months with machine learning-based targeting, performance optimization, and self-serve campaign management. The results included 2.2% higher spend among shoppers shown targeted ads, a 2x increase in merchants’ GMV after adopting sponsored ads, and 3x ROAS compared with other platforms; more than 10% of merchants were recruited to advertise within three months.
