Maxilia is a Dutch online store selling promotional gifts that wanted to cut costs, reduce payment administration, and build more trust as it expanded into Europe. To do this, the company switched its online payments to Mollie, using Mollie’s Payments product alongside its existing credit control setup.
Mollie consolidated Maxilia’s payment flows into one provider, brought services like PayPal into the Mollie dashboard, and partially automated the linking of direct payments to invoices. As a result, Maxilia saved money, spent much less time on administration, and made cross-border payments feel more trustworthy for customers in markets like Germany and France, where Mollie routes funds to local accounts.
