A Molecular Devices Case Study
The University of Geneva's RE.A.D.S Unit, led by researcher Yves Cambet, faced the challenge of providing expert assay development and screening support for a wide variety of enzymatic and cell-based assays in both 96- and 384-well formats. To meet this need, the unit required a versatile suite of microplate readers from Molecular Devices.
Molecular Devices provided a solution with its FlexStation 3, SpectraMax L, and SpectraMax Paradigm Multi-Mode Microplate Readers. This combination of instruments enabled the unit to perform a comprehensive range of assays, including kinetic measurements with injection systems. By analyzing data in SoftMax Pro Software, the researchers could efficiently calculate key pharmacological parameters, thereby successfully supporting the faculty's diverse scientific research.
