Moki Enables Large-Scale mPOS Deployment

North American Bancard (NAB) partnered with Moki to develop and launch PayAnywhere Storefront, a low-cost mobile point-of-sale solution. NAB needed to deploy mPOS at scale while sourcing reliable hardware, securing devices with a custom Android ROM, and staging tablets so they were ready for merchants to use out of the box.

Moki helped NAB deliver a custom Android-based mPOS setup with NAB-branded tablets, built-in card readers, and a secure app environment. The solution let NAB control available apps, remotely configure and update devices, and monitor support across deployments, while also helping source hardware, develop the custom ROM, and stage devices for customers. The result was a pre-packaged, payment-grade mobile POS experience that launched quickly with no up-front cost for business owners.
