Texas A&M University - Customer Case Study

Texas A&M, one of the largest public universities in the U.S. with about 66,000 students and a global alumni network, needed a mobile strategy that could keep pace with rapid technology change and shifting student needs. Leadership prioritized a mobile presence to support strategic goals around retention and completion, while also handling a steady stream of events and diverse campus services without overburdening a single department.

The university launched a Modo Campus™ app with a module-based design that lets campus departments manage content—adding transit info, virtual tours, and special event modules for New Student Orientation, move‑in, and Parents’ Weekend. That flexibility allowed Texas A&M to scale quickly for seasonal needs, boost engagement during critical enrollment moments, and better capture and retain students, while continuing to evolve the app with new features like Bluetooth beacons and persona-driven functionality.
