The Clinic for Dermatology & Wellness, LLC, a dermatology, medical, surgical, aesthetics, and wellness clinic in East Medford, Oregon, needed a way to keep treating patients during COVID-19 when in-office visits were sharply limited. The clinic turned to Modernizing Medicine’s Healthcare IT Suite, using ModMed Telehealth integrated with the EMA EHR, to continue care remotely.

Modernizing Medicine’s Healthcare IT Suite implemented ModMed Telehealth with real-time audio/video visits, mobile access through APPatient, and support for remote workflows. The clinic used the platform to convert eligible visits to telehealth, and by the third week of use, virtual visit volume had doubled from the initial launch. Patients reported the experience was simple and easy to use, and many said they would request telehealth again after the pandemic.
