Sunglass Hut engaged Moderne Communications to create a buzz-worthy experiential element for its Electrify Your Summer Tour that embodied the campaign idea "The Sun Never Sets for Sunglass Hut." The challenge was to design a mobile, highly interactive activation that would engage attendees across multiple cities and drive measurable social and PR lift; Moderne Communications proposed a Pavegen-powered interactive dance floor as the core experience.

Moderne Communications designed, installed and managed a turnkey activation using Pavegen Energy Tiles to power a 10-foot synthetic sun, while also handling logistics, on-site support and social monitoring/reporting. The tour hit four major U.S. cities with 30,000 attendees, produced 300,000+ joules of energy, generated 37 million+ social media impressions and 500 million+ PR impressions.
