Lady Gaga needed a bold, artistic launch for her 2016 single/album "Perfect Illusion" that would introduce the record in major U.S. markets in an attention-grabbing way. Moderne Communications was hired to deliver guerrilla marketing and digital projection services to create real-life illusions that embodied the album’s title and tone.
Moderne Communications, working with NPA, used large-scale digital projection video—incorporating clips from the "Perfect Illusion" music video—onto high-traffic buildings in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles at peak times, while capturing high-quality content for Interscope Records’ social and digital channels. The stunt generated more than 3.8 million impressions across the three markets.
