Burger King - Customer Case Study

Burger King hired Moderne Communications to build nationwide buzz and anticipation for its new lower‑fat French Fry, “Satisfries.” The challenge was to create Burger King’s first-ever unbranded activation that would disrupt busy urban environments and drive awareness in a surprising, shareable way.

Moderne Communications executed a guerrilla marketing push—ubiquitous wild postings and sidewalk stenciling across New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago in under two weeks, plus strategic “Wi‑Fry” zones to encourage social sharing and onsite content capture by a professional activation team. The campaign generated 12.95+ million impressions over a five‑day activation and won the Event Marketer 2014 Gold Ex Award for Best in Guerrilla Media and Street Marketing.
