University of Ottawa powers a seven-story STEM Complex with Modern Niagara

The University of Ottawa required new, leading-edge environmental building systems for a new seven-story STEM facility on its main campus. Modern Niagara was engaged to deliver a comprehensive suite of mechanical and building services to support teaching, research, and entrepreneurial activity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Modern Niagara implemented building automation, plumbing, heating, ventilation, fire suppression, refrigeration, and medical gas systems. The solution included the coordination and installation of major equipment such as air handling units, boilers, chillers, and heat exchangers. As a result, Modern Niagara provided the university with a sophisticated and integrated mechanical infrastructure for its advanced STEM Complex.
