Workiva, a global cloud-based reporting platform, faced rising employee stress during the pandemic and low utilization (2–3%) of its existing EAP. In October 2021 Workiva partnered with Modern Health to deliver a full-scale mental health care platform — an app-based network of therapists and coaches, group sessions (Circles), and digital resources — to improve access and reduce time to care worldwide.

Modern Health launched the solution with close Customer Success support (demos, bi-weekly check-ins and engagement strategies), producing rapid adoption and measurable impact: a 10x improvement in engagement over the prior EAP, 32% registration within six months (about 26% of employees actively engaged), 57% of members using two or more care modalities, median booking time under one day, 67% clinical recovery after four sessions, and 91% who agree care has improved their well-being.
