University of Denver Launches a Redaptive Website for the Presidential Debate

The University of Denver faced the challenge of rapidly developing a high-performance website for a 2012 Presidential Debate event. With only 10 weeks to build a site that would perform across a vast range of devices, they turned to vendor Modern Campus and their Modern Campus CMS web content management solution to meet the tight deadline.

Modern Campus CMS enabled the university to implement a pioneering "redaptive" design strategy, combining responsive and adaptive techniques. This solution, though more complex, resulted in a fast-loading site that delivered an optimal user experience on over 580 different screen sizes. The project was a success, launching on schedule and providing Modern Campus with valuable feedback that was used to enhance their product's Multi-Output Preview functionality.
