Southeastern Community College Redesigns Website with Recruitment in Mind

Southeastern Community College, a small Iowa college serving 3,000 students across five locations, needed to overhaul a cobbled-together website that was disorganized, difficult to search, inconsistent in design, and out of web accessibility compliance. The school chose Modern Campus and its Modern Campus CMS to help improve consistency, performance, accessibility, and overall website management.

With Modern Campus CMS, SCC reorganized content into a searchable hierarchy, standardized page structure and design, and added built-in accessibility checks to help ensure compliance before publishing. Modern Campus also automated many manual workflows, making it easier for staff to update content and freeing the small web team to focus on higher-priority work; the result was a dynamic, fresh website that better supports recruitment and reflects the school’s goals.
