Northeast Iowa Community College Immediately Boosted Workforce Development Registration

Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) needed a better way to manage its large workforce development and continuing education operations, including online registration, contract training, and reporting. Using the Modern Campus Lumens platform, NICC wanted to replace cumbersome manual processes and gain easier access to data across its multi-campus district.

Modern Campus implemented Lumens to support online self-registration, contract training, centralized course management, and customizable reporting, along with a custom integration with Brightspace. The results were immediate: online self-registration rose to 34%, staff time was significantly freed up, and NICC gained better visibility into revenue and enrollment to grow its $3.8 million workforce development business.
