Modernizing Customer Engagement at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology

Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) launched a new School for Continuing Education and Professional Studies and found that its main-campus ERP was not user-friendly for external learners. Students struggled to register for continuing education courses and complete payments, so SAIT looked for a more customer-centric solution from Modern Campus, specifically Modern Campus Destiny One.

Modern Campus implemented Destiny One, a student management system built for non-credit, continuing, and workforce education. The platform enabled automated cross-sell prompts, course-interest reminders, and abandoned cart follow-up, helping SAIT exceed its goal of serving 2,500 students in seven months instead of nine. In that same period, SAIT recorded 184,000 registrations and 3,600 paying students, and reported a return on investment within seven months.
