Increasing Student Engagement & Learning Through Gamification at Manhattanville College

Manhattanville College, a small private college with more than 1,500 undergraduates, needed a better way to help students discover and understand co-curricular opportunities on campus. Before using Modern Campus Involve, students struggled to find the right information, staff lacked visibility into what was happening, and events and venues were sometimes poorly coordinated.

To address this, Manhattanville College implemented Modern Campus Involve, Modern Campus’s branded co-curricular engagement platform, along with gamification and customizable event registration tools. The result was stronger engagement and efficiency: over 70% of students attended at least one event in the first six weeks of the semester, up from 57% before, and students planned 45% more events than in the previous semester.
