A Modern Campus Case Study
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) needed a modern way to manage and grow its non-credit programming across multiple campuses and student groups, from workforce training to community education and senior offerings. The college wanted a system that could improve the student experience, support secure data handling, and replace manual, inconsistent registration processes. To meet these needs, Tri-C turned to Modern Campus and its Destiny One student lifecycle management platform.
With Modern Campus’ Destiny One, Tri-C integrated non-credit operations with its Banner SIS, standardized workflows across divisions, and modernized online registration with ecommerce-style features. The results were strong: online registrations increased 64% over two years, publicly available non-credit enrollments grew 16% in the first six months, online registration volume rose 52% compared with the prior year, and overall enrollment increased 34% three years after implementation. Tri-C also reported that staff could focus more on higher-value work and that the improved experience helped move more students to self-service registration.
