How Destiny One helped UCBX improve retention and program management to facilitate expansion into new markets

UC Berkeley Extension (UCBX), the continuing education arm of UC Berkeley, needed to modernize outdated back-end systems that were creating silos, manual work, and inconsistent program management. To support growth and better serve today’s learners, UCBX turned to Modern Campus and its Destiny One Student Lifecycle Management platform.

Modern Campus implemented Destiny One to unify operations, automate processes, centralize data, and improve the student experience through self-service tools like the Student Portal. As a result, UCBX decommissioned at least 100 shadow applications and processes, improved enrollment tracking and classroom utilization, reduced manual errors, and strengthened retention and re-enrollment while creating a foundation for expansion into corporate and international markets.
