Fresno State Builds a Dynamic and Responsive Online Course Catalog

Fresno State partnered with Modern Campus to solve a fragmented web experience and an outdated, print-based course catalog. The university needed a more consistent, mobile-friendly, and searchable way to present course information while reducing errors caused by manual updates across PeopleSoft and the website.

Using Modern Campus CMS, Fresno State built a responsive, student-focused online course catalog with data pulled from PeopleSoft, 25Live, and site content. The new catalog improved navigation, enabled searchable degree and program pages, and eliminated about $18,000 in recurring printing costs, while giving students a more accurate and dynamic resource; Modern Campus also helped the university prepare to extend responsive design across its broader website.
