Equipping Students With Marketable Skills & Experiences Through Co-Curricular Learning Tracks at Georgia Southern University

Georgia Southern University, a large public institution, faced the challenge of students being unable to articulate marketable skills from their extracurricular activities. Their previous platform provided minimal data and lacked the ability to foster campus-wide collaboration. They partnered with Modern Campus and its Involve platform to move beyond mere attendance tracking and create intentional, skill-based co-curricular programming.

Modern Campus Involve provided the solution, enabling the university to map out and launch over 50 co-curricular learning pathways within just a few months. This integrated platform allowed students to design their own learning experiences and track skill development. The results included creating new leadership certificates, increased student buy-in, and deeply insightful data that revealed engagement trends to help reach underserved student populations.
