Honeycomb gets stickier with Mode

Honeycomb, an observability company for engineering teams, was drowning in disconnected data across Salesforce, Stripe, Intercom, HubSpot, Amplitude and more. Manual workflows — CSV stitching, Metabase queries, and tool-switching — blocked a critical move from seat-based to usage-based pricing and made fast, interactive decision-making impossible.

To fix this they rebuilt a modern data stack with Snowflake and Fivetran and chose Mode as the analytics front end. Mode’s SQL + Python notebooks powered a Customer Timeline app and White Label Embeds that surface usage insights to both teams and customers. The result: faster, richer customer conversations, rapid iteration on reports and features, and customers who can now see and extract more value from Honeycomb.
