Pango, a parking app with more than 1 million users, worked with Moburst to grow market share by acquiring new active users and to reduce operational costs by shifting customers away from calling the call center and toward using the app to pay for parking. The company also had separate CPA targets for new service subscribers and existing users who switched to the app.
Moburst targeted micro-segments with distinct messaging and used more than 100 precisely targeted, personalized ads to attract users who would install the app, complete registration, and pay for parking. Through A/B testing, Moburst identified the most responsive audience segments, beat Pango+’s target CPAs for both audiences, and reduced them by an average of 50% over time, helping increase Pango+’s revenue stream.
