Fattal worked with Moburst to promote its new mobile application, Yala, and to help it rank in the highly competitive Travel category on app stores. The goal was to generate buzz and improve the app’s standing among top free apps.
Moburst used product refinement and strategic media buying, including a 48-hour burst campaign at launch and ongoing hyper-targeted campaigns around major occasions like holidays. The effort helped Yala reach the number one position for the keyword “Travel” and third place on Apple’s top free apps list, while organic downloads increased, CPI came in more than 50% below expectations, and the campaign produced a 10-fold ROI.
