Wasco monitors logistics with smart cameras

Wasco, a wholesaler in the installation sector, needed to gain visibility over the logistics for its 500,000 products to prevent damage and theft and provide proof of dispatch. To address this challenge, they partnered with vendor Mobotix for a smart camera surveillance solution.

Mobotix provided over 160 robust, cyber-secure cameras to monitor Wasco's distribution centres and branches. The solution was implemented with partners X-ICT and Gold-IP, and management was migrated to a cloud platform for ultimate flexibility. As a result, Wasco now has a comprehensive visual record of its entire logistics process, with the system working reliably to produce sharp recordings.
