TSK integrates MOBOTIX cameras into its virtual reality solution

TSK, a global company for sustainable development based in Spain, sought a partner to provide high-resolution video for its virtual reality applications. The challenge was to integrate reliable cameras with high image quality and suitable interfaces to give remote users the feeling of being physically on-site. To achieve this, TSK turned to the solutions from vendor Mobotix.

Mobotix cameras were integrated as the connecting element for interaction within TSK's SIXPERIENCE virtual reality system. The solution provided live video feeds that were contextualized in a virtual environment, enabling remote operations, maintenance, and secure building surveillance. The excellent configurability and durability of the Mobotix cameras allowed for a successful integration. A key result was the significant reduction of latency, with future plans to use 5G to reduce it further below 100 ms.
