The Snow Centre, an indoor snowsports destination in the UK, required a high-quality and reliable CCTV system to secure its entire facility. A key challenge was operating within their "Snow Box," where cameras needed to function at -2°C without the glare from the snow and without expensive cable installations. They turned to vendor Mobotix for a solution.

The implemented Mobotix solution used a decentralized system of 40 IP cameras, including models installed directly in the cold environment without needing heaters. This approach saved on infrastructure costs by eliminating the need for powerful central servers and allowed staff to monitor footage from any PC. The results were flawless operation, 100% coverage, and the successful resolution of incidents like a false fire alarm, ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
