Spanish DIY Chain Bricoking Relies On IP Technology from MOBOTIX

Bricoking, a leading chain of DIY stores in Spain, faced the challenge of scaling its video security system to meet the needs of its 28 rapidly growing branches. They required a remote system with higher image quality, 360-degree views, and central access from their headquarters. Partnering with security provider Chillida Sistemas de Seguridad, they selected IP cameras from vendor Mobotix for their high resolution and ability to meet these specific requirements.

The solution implemented by Mobotix involved installing 18 Q24 and M24 model cameras across four stores, paired with a custom NAS storage system to meet a 15-day video retention policy. The result was a centralized, integrated system that exceeded Bricoking's expectations, providing not only high-quality video surveillance and theft deterrence but also additional features like sound recording. Mobotix delivered a versatile and cost-effective solution that fulfilled all of the customer's high requirements.
