Polaritás-GM Ltd. Selects MOBOTIX Technology To Ensure A Fair Start

The London Olympics faced the challenge of ensuring a fair start for rowing and canoeing events, requiring a system to accurately judge the positioning of competitors' boats at a distance of 100 meters. To meet the rigorous specifications of international sporting federations, Polaritás-GM Ltd. implemented a start system for them utilizing MOBOTIX M24M camera technology.

The solution involved deploying MOBOTIX cameras integrated with custom StartVideo software, providing judges with real-time and recorded megapixel video for precise, frame-by-frame analysis of the start line. This system, developed by MOBOTIX's partner Polaritás, was used successfully throughout the 2012 London Olympics across 26 medal events, ensuring accurate race starts and contributing to the event's fairness. The technology's reliability and innovation have made it the certified choice for world-class rowing and canoeing competitions globally.
