MOBOTIX Solution provides increased security of the Ukrainian “Druzhba” Ice Hockey Stadium

The customer, an ice hockey stadium in Ukraine, required a high-resolution video security system to handle increased visitor numbers and meet the requirements for hosting international games. The challenge was to find an affordable solution with low bandwidth demands. The stadium chose to implement a security system from the vendor, Mobotix.

Mobotix implemented a decentralized solution using 74 of its intelligent IP cameras, including the Q24, M24, D14, M12, and D24 models. The system provided comprehensive coverage of entrances, grandstands, and the parking lot, leading to a greater sense of safety for staff and visitors. The results included a sold-out stadium as more fans felt secure bringing their families, and the solution saved valuable resources by requiring minimal staff for monitoring. Due to this success, the ice hockey stadium is planning an expansion and will install more Mobotix cameras to cover the larger capacity.
