Kardex Mlog, a leading supplier of automated logistics and high-bay warehouses, faced the challenge of minimizing costly downtimes in their automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS). To keep these disruptions to a minimum and ensure greater safety for employees, they partnered with vendor Mobotix to implement a video monitoring solution using the MOBOTIX S15D cameras.

The solution involved installing Mobotix's dual-lens S15D cameras on each AS/RS, providing a complete 360-degree view to quickly identify and analyze the causes of disruptions. This allowed for faster, more precise troubleshooting, often eliminating the need for dangerous manual inspections. As a result of implementing the Mobotix system, Kardex Mlog's customers were able to reduce machine downtimes by an average of 25 to 30 percent, translating to economic savings of several thousand euros.
