The city of Cannes sought to enhance safety and accessibility along its famous Croisette promenade while preserving the area's aesthetics with discreet video surveillance. They partnered with vendor Mobotix and lighting specialist Technilum to address this challenge, requiring a solution that was both effective and unobtrusive.

Mobotix provided its S16 cameras, which were seamlessly integrated into Technilum's intelligent lighting poles to remain hidden from view. The solution deployed 34 masts equipped with Mobotix technology, offering 180-degree vision and a direct connection to the city's security center. This implementation by Mobotix resulted in excellent image quality, reduced hardware needs, lower bandwidth usage, and a significant decrease in false alarms, providing a discreet and efficient security system for the iconic location.
