A Mobotix Case Study
Jefferson Security Bank, a West Virginia-based financial institution, faced the challenge of replacing its outdated surveillance system with future-proof technology. The bank needed higher-quality video, faster investigation capabilities, and expanded coverage at its branches, including areas like parking lots and ATMs that previously had no visibility. To address this, they partnered with vendor Mobotix to deploy an IP-based surveillance solution.
Mobotix implemented a decentralized system using approximately 125 high-resolution cameras, including Q24, D14, and S14 models, along with MxControlCenter software and license plate recognition (LPR) analytics. This solution allowed the bank to reduce the total number of cameras needed, resulting in immediate and long-term cost savings. The results were powerful: Mobotix dramatically reduced investigation times, provided law enforcement with high-quality evidence, and equipped the bank with robust tools to combat fraud efficiently.
