A Mobotix Case Study
Orio al Serio Bergamo International Airport, operated by SACBO S.p.A., faced the challenge of increasing its security level and meeting demanding standards, especially during a major terminal expansion. To address the complex needs of its large passenger traffic and heterogeneous terminal halls, they needed a flexible, high-performance video surveillance system. They partnered with vendor MOBOTIX for this security upgrade.
The solution implemented by MOBOTIX involved the installation of over 300 of their cameras, including various models like the c25 and Q24/25, all supported by a new VoIP infrastructure and NAS recording. The MOBOTIX hardware provided excellent image quality under all conditions, while its highly customizable software offered advanced video analysis. The results included improved support for police investigations, enhanced safety procedures for aircraft and vehicle movements, and the ability to analyze passenger flow and monitor queues in real-time.
