The Pan Pacific Orchard hotel in Singapore required a highly discreet and robust surveillance solution that would blend seamlessly into its nature-inspired luxury ambiance without intruding on guests. The humid tropical climate also posed a significant challenge for outdoor camera durability. To address this, the hotel partnered with vendor Mobotix to implement their IoT and MOVE camera systems.

Mobotix, through partner Spiraltech, provided a customized solution consisting of 305 cameras, including hemispheric and concealed models, many of which were painted to match their surroundings. The system was reliably resilient against extreme weather, including monsoon rains. The implementation was a complete success, leading to such high satisfaction that the use of Mobotix technology in other hotels within the Pan Pacific group is now being planned.
