Sandboxx, a lifestyle technology company serving military and veteran communities, needed a reliable way to keep its iOS and Android apps stable as it shipped frequent updates. With a user base of over 3 million globally, the team wanted confidence that core flows like logging in and sending a Letter would continue to work without introducing regressions. Mobot Live was used to support their mobile quality assurance efforts.
Mobot helped Sandboxx run weekly regression tests on real iOS and Android devices, covering every way a user could log in and send a Letter. Using Mobot, the team caught bugs that were hard or impossible to reproduce with traditional automation, including a memory leak and third-party authentication issues, and received results within 12–24 hours of each request. The impact was significant: Sandboxx’s App Store rating rose from 4.2 to 4.8 in three months, 100% of Mobot test cycles found at least one bug, and 62% of those bugs were fixed in the same release.
