Women's March - Customer Case Study

Women’s March, the women-led movement organizing for a feminist future, faced an urgent need in 2021 to quickly train and mobilize supporters after a wave of restrictive state abortion laws and with the pandemic limiting in-person events. They partnered with Mobilize to run the Feminist Futures Institute, an eight-session virtual education series using the Mobilize platform to recruit, register, and communicate with attendees.

Using Mobilize’s event pages, automated reminders, event suggestions, promotions and network features, Women’s March ran one main event with eight sessions and rapidly scaled outreach. The series generated 39,170 signups—nearly 4× their 10,000 goal—and reached 156,911 supporters (50% above their 100,000 reach goal); over 13% of signups came directly from Mobilize features. Mobilize’s platform not only increased turnout but also helped Women’s March funnel new supporters into Women2Women Circles, Digital Defenders, and ongoing 2022 election organizing.
