With stay‑at‑home orders preventing in‑person town halls, the NEA needed a way to rapidly communicate with members, gather concerns, and mobilize advocacy—so it moved its outreach online using Mobilize alongside Zoom.

The virtual town halls averaged 4,333 registrants each (about 40,000 attendees total), Mobilize’s event suggestions drove 20,000 additional signups and its bring‑a‑friend prompts generated 83,000 more signups (24% of the total), while automated reporting and VAN integration streamlined follow‑up and planning for the NEA.
