A large global food delivery service worked with Mobilewalla to better understand its high-value customers and improve both retention and acquisition. The company’s challenge was identifying which customers generated the most revenue, what traits defined them, and how to find more customers like them.
Mobilewalla used High-Value Customer Modeling, combining order data with demographic and behavioral enrichment, to segment customers with RFM analysis and predictive machine learning. The work showed that about 20% of customers were high-value but generated 80% of revenue, spent 3X more than low-value customers, and had a much lower churn rate (20% vs. 50%); it also found that more than 50% of high-value customers could shift to low value without engagement, while retaining even 10% of them could significantly impact revenue.
