Missouri Valley College worked with MobileUp to make its campus app a more useful communication and engagement tool for students. The school’s challenge was to get students aware of the app and give them a strong reason to keep using it, especially in a mobile-first student population.

MobileUp helped Missouri Valley College focus on essential features like a digital student ID card, campus map, notifications, calendars, dining menus, Moodle links, and a campus directory. The college introduced the app during freshman orientation and through residence hall directors, which helped drive adoption and regular use; the app averaged about 3,000 sessions per month during the 2017–18 school year, and the school reported that MobileUp’s app was more effective than other communication methods.
