Nurse Anesthetists Association Launches Effective App in Record Time

The North Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthetists (NCANA) needed to quickly launch a branded mobile app for its Annual Meeting and ongoing member engagement, but its new executive director had no coding or technical experience and very limited time to get it built. Working with MobileUp’s no-code mobile app platform, NCANA set out to improve event communications, reduce paper usage, and support group coordination without relying on IT resources.

Using MobileUp, NCANA built and launched a mobile app for agendas, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, venues, FAQs, notifications, and member groups, with a MemberClicks integration for easy login and member data import. The app was built and populated in days, helped drive over 500 downloads in the first six months, and improved communications for the Annual Meeting, Capitol Day, and year-round member activities, earning strong feedback from attendees, sponsors, and members.
