Sally Beauty Holdings, an international specialty retailer and distributor with 4,500 stores across the U.S., Latin America and Europe, needed a way to make its field sales consultants more effective and project a more professional image. Laptops were slow and awkward in salon settings, printouts were inefficient, and the company also needed a secure way to support company‑issued and employee‑owned mobile devices without compromising usability.

Sally Beauty deployed the MobileIron EMM platform and rolled out iPads, a branded app store (Apps@Work), Box for centralized content, and MobileIron AppConnect to securely deliver apps and enable in‑salon order taking. The result: faster, more professional customer interactions, positive field feedback, new accounts and sales growth, and measurable cost savings by digitally distributing collateral to ~4,000 stores instead of printing and mailing.
