Securitas, Germany’s largest security services provider, wanted to speed up its time-consuming quotation process by equipping sales teams with iPads running its CRM app iKnow so quotes could be created and sent on-site. The challenge was to deploy tablets at scale while maintaining strict security, app and device management, and safe access to corporate data and file servers.

EBF implemented MobileIron MDM and an Enterprise AppStore and rolled out iKnow plus the EBF.CONNECTOR to 100 iPads, giving secure, read-only access to file server documents without storing them on devices. The result was centralized control (jailbreak detection, app blocking, remote wipe), faster on-site quotations emailed directly to customers, reduced paperwork and administrative effort, and a planned national roll-out.
