Givaudan Caters to Employees’ Tastes in Devices with Mobileiron Solutions

Givaudan, the global leader in fragrances and flavors, needed to let employees use their preferred mobile devices across 45 countries but found its infrastructure wasn’t scalable or secure for BYOD and was limited to a few platforms. The IT team therefore sought a reliable mobile device management (MDM) solution to expand support beyond BlackBerry and enable secure access to corporate services.

Givaudan selected MobileIron (with partner Nomasis) for its integrated security model, simple interface and Apps@Work app store. Deployed to about 800 users, the solution secured iOS and Android access to email, contacts, chat and VPN, supported remote wipe, and achieved a 93% employee satisfaction rate while enabling plans for corporate-issued devices and future app distribution.
