A Mobile Heartbeat Case Study
Evangelical Community Hospital, a 131‑bed regional provider in Lewisburg, PA, undertook a Patient Room Improvement, Modernization and Enhancement (PRIME) initiative to modernize care and improve clinician communication. To unify clinical workflows and integrate with existing systems like Rauland Responder 5 and the EHR, Evangelical selected Mobile Heartbeat and its MH‑CURE® clinical collaboration platform.
Mobile Heartbeat implemented MH‑CURE with standards‑based integrations, a multi‑device rollout (shared hospital devices, desktop app and personal devices), and hands‑on training, completing two major installations. The Mobile Heartbeat deployment produced measurable benefits: a quieter care environment from reduced overhead paging and call bells, shortened staff‑to‑staff communication wait times, clearer escalation pathways, fewer steps in alerts, and faster confirmation of message delivery and read receipts.
