Freeman Health System, a 460-bed health system serving over 450,000 people in Joplin, Missouri, faced common communication challenges: failing wireless handsets, time lost locating the right person, and siloed tools and manual workflows (VoIP “candy bar” phones and dry-erase care boards). Mobile Heartbeat implemented MH-CURE with an enterprise-wide directory, role-based InterApp Launch Points, and Active Directory synchronization, integrating basic patient and care-team data and enabling easy launch of clinical apps from a single device.
