The Morgan Group, a Houston-based developer and manager of upscale urban apartment communities, wanted to replace its portal-based resident system with a better mobile experience. The company needed a true one-stop shop for residents that would be easier to use on smartphones, support third-party services, and strengthen each property’s brand identity.

The Morgan Group implemented custom-branded resident apps from Mobile Doorman across its portfolio. The solution provided a seamless mobile experience for paying rent, submitting service requests, reserving amenities, and completing move-in tasks, while also integrating services like concierge and pet care. The result was higher resident engagement, easier work for onsite staff, and a more cohesive, professional resident experience; by the end of 2019, the apps were expected to be in use at all of the company’s properties, with nine properties already using Mobile Doorman.
